Why taskers choose Jakada

We built this platform around taskers first — because without you, nothing works.

Same-day earnings

Get paid after every completed task. No waiting, no payroll cycles — your money lands in your account the same day.

You set the hours

Morning, afternoon, weekends — work the slots that suit you. There's no minimum commitment and no shift rota to answer to.

All on WhatsApp

No app to install. Task requests, client updates, and payments all happen through WhatsApp — the phone you're already using.

You're never alone

Our operations team is available throughout every task. If something is unclear or goes wrong, we're a WhatsApp message away.

How to join

From application to your first task — here's exactly what to expect.

01

Fill the application

A quick online form — your basic details, NIN, a live selfie, and proof of address. Takes about 5 minutes.

02

We review your docs

Our team checks your information and gets back to you via WhatsApp within 3–5 working days.

03

Onboarding session

Come in for a short in-person session. We'll walk you through how tasks work, what clients expect, and how to handle different scenarios.

04

Start earning

From that day, task requests start arriving on WhatsApp. Accept the ones that work for you and get paid the same day.

What you'll actually do

Three task types, all structured and paid. You choose which categories you want to work in.

General errand

Shopping, queuing & pick-ups

From buying groceries at Shoprite to paying a bill at a government office — if it needs someone on the ground, that's you.

Property check

Eyes on the ground, reports in real time

Visit a property, document its condition with photos and video, and relay everything back to the client. Simple and structured.

Gifting & delivery

Collect, carry, surprise

Pick up a gift from a vendor and deliver it to the recipient — sometimes without giving away who sent it. A little Lagos magic.

What you need to apply

No special skills or qualifications required — just the basics to verify who you are.

  • Based in Lagos (or the city where you want to work)
  • A smartphone with WhatsApp installed
  • Valid National Identification Number (NIN)
  • Nigerian bank account for earnings disbursement
  • A utility bill or bank statement as proof of address
  • Willingness to be reliable, honest, and communicate clearly

Having a bike, keke, or car is a bonus — not a requirement.

Common questions

How much will I earn per task?

Earnings vary by task type and complexity. You'll always know what a task pays before accepting it, and you're never locked into anything.

Do I need a vehicle?

Not necessarily — many tasks are walkable or accessible by public transport. Having a bike or car opens up more task types, but it's not a requirement to get started.

How many tasks can I take on?

As many as your schedule allows. There's no minimum, and no cap. You're in full control.

What if something goes wrong during a task?

Our ops team is available throughout every task. You're not on your own — reach out on WhatsApp and we'll sort it together.

Is this a full-time job?

It can be, or it can supplement your existing income. Many taskers start part-time and scale up as they get comfortable with how it works.

Ready to start earning?

Applications are reviewed within 3–5 working days. Once approved, you'll be invited in for onboarding and be ready to take your first task.
